Sun Wukong and Zhu Bajie also wielded their weapons, following behind Tang Sanzang into the Profound Origin Cave.

At this moment, deep within the Profound Origin Cave, King Bihan, King Bichen, and King Bishu, the three demons, were drinking.

In their previous battle with Tang Sanzang and his disciples, the three demons had managed to escape, but each of them had sustained injuries.

“We’ve been really unlucky lately,” King Bihan said to King Bichen and King Bishu, taking a frustrated sip of wine. “First, we ran into those monks and almost lost our lives. Now, the demons have arrived, forcing us to stay hidden in the cave.”

These three demons had occupied the Azure Dragon Mountain area, becoming the overlords of this region, often committing atrocities and taking pleasure in killing.

But encountering Tang Sanzang and his group had been a major setback. The three of them hadn't recovered from their injuries even now.

Then the demons arrived. Although these three demons possessed some strength, they couldn't afford to provoke the demon race.

With the demons appearing here, they could only retreat into their cave, lest they be discovered by some powerful demon figure, which would mean even greater losses for them.

“Brother, don’t be upset. This is only temporary. Tang Sanzang and the others are heading west and are merely passing through this place.

As for the demons, although they are powerful, it is impossible for them to conquer Jinping Prefecture. They will soon fail and retreat.

When that time comes, this will be our territory again, and we can find more people to kill for fun.” King Bichen consoled King Bihan.
