#2402 - Chu Hao's Gift

At this Peach Banquet, as far as the Heavenly Court was concerned, the Jade Emperor and the Queen Mother were a family, sharing the main seat. Below them were the Supreme Lord Lao and Chu Hao, among others.

The Tathagata Buddha's offering of ten Buddha Relic Beads had clearly overshadowed the Supreme Lord Lao, and the others had nothing of comparable value to offer.

Tathagata turned around and smiled at Chu Hao, saying,

"Jail God, you are usually a prominent figure in the Heavenly Court. Why are you so silent at this Peach Banquet? It's really not like you.

This is the Queen Mother's birthday, and the Jail God should offer congratulations and gifts. Could it be that the Jail God has not prepared anything?"

The Tathagata Buddha naturally wanted to embarrass Chu Hao first, so that he could then question Chu Hao about the previous events in the Western Paradise.

Chu Hao was very clear about the Tathagata Buddha's intentions, and shook his head in response.

"Buddha, the Buddha Relic Beads you offered are indeed precious treasures of the Western Paradise.

The Tathagata Buddha also knew that Chu Hao's Jail God Palace was not lacking in magical treasures and elixirs, possibly even richer than the Western Paradise and the Heavenly Court.

Even the few treasures that Chu Hao possessed could, at best, only be on par with the Supreme Lord Lao's elixirs and his Buddha Relic Beads.

The gods of the Heavenly Court also spoke to Chu Hao one after another.

Chu Hao appeared relaxed and casual. He got up and came to the Tathagata Buddha, smiling as he said,

"Since everyone is so interested, then I will show you the birthday gift I brought. Buddha, you will definitely not be unfamiliar with this item."

As Chu Hao spoke, he took out the Dreamlike Scepter.

If one were to judge the Dreamlike Scepter solely on its appearance, it was indeed unremarkable. Its aesthetic appeal was even inferior to the Seven-Colored Coral Tree of the Dragon Kings of the Four Seas.

The Tathagata Buddha sneered, mocking Chu Hao.

"Then let the Buddha experience it first. Buddha, open your eyes and watch carefully. I will move the Great Thunderclap Temple to the Jade Pool for you."

As Chu Hao spoke, he waved the Dreamlike Scepter in his hand.

With the wave of the Dreamlike Scepter, the colorful scene of the Jade Pool disappeared, and instead, the solemn and dignified Mahavira Hall of the Great Thunderclap Temple appeared.

Although performing transformations is a common thing for immortals,

the immortals were gathered here, including top-level powerhouses of the Three Realms such as the Jade Emperor, the Supreme Lord Lao, and the Tathagata Buddha.

The Tathagata Buddha had to admit it, otherwise if Chu Hao really explained the matter of the Dream-Eating Beast clearly to the gods, it would not be just the Tathagata Buddha who would lose face, but the entire Western Paradise would be disgraced.

"This treasure is called the Dreamlike Scepter. In fact, everyone is now in a dream.

"With this treasure, you can enter the Dream Realm at any time. In the Dream Realm, you can obtain everything you want.

"Having this treasure is equivalent to having a space under your control. Tell me, in heaven and earth, is there anything more satisfying than this treasure?"

The gods praised one after another. This Dreamlike Scepter, used as the Queen Mother's birthday gift, I am afraid that nothing more suitable or valuable can be found in the Three Realms.
